Damian teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate units in Penetration Testing, Software Development, and Computer Networking, including the delivery of Cisco CCNA training.

 Prior to joining Macquarie, Damian had a long career in the IT industry providing independent consulting services and technical training on behalf of vendors such as VMware and Hewlett-Packard.

Damian’s interests include Cyber-Physical systems, side-channel attacks, the verification of both hardware and systems software for correctness and security, automation of IT systems, virtualisation, and the use of type-theory and functional programming techniques in application domains including VLSI design, systems software, and network protocols.
